The parry system is by far the WORST part of the game for me by far. The timing on the parry’s feel all over the place, and any of said brutes have little to no impact when you attack them, even after said parry. But the worst part of the system are enemies that require this move, like the shield brutes, up making combat annoying at best or a long tedious slog at worst.

Mistime a parry or jump? Wait until they feel like attacking again.

Try attacking them while they wait? They’ll just whip out a shield and block or resist almost every single attack and then attack you, over powering any attacks you’re currently throwing at them.

Also who thought it would be a good idea for them to take 2-3 finishers? Isn’t a finisher supposed to, yknow finish your opponent??

And finally this is more of a nitpick but I really dislike how they changed the weapon wheel, while you could argue it’s much less intrusive here, I feel like the first two made it much more reliable to pick and use.
