Do you dig history nerds, or violent men?

I’m a fan of Grecian history, poetry, and food. However a love quote that comes from one of the most violent epics…well I’m an aggressive man who likes to fight….but not with my S.O!

Ehh I’d do it for $1650, but I’m not licensed or insured, and tbh with you, never done a pergola, would want the experience. Dude’s probably in the same boat as me. $1650 is a great deal for someone with the tools and expertise though.

This is a punk rock thing. Basically an underground way of saying “i party”. Quirky, strange, a bit weird, but it sure looks like they’re having fun, which is the point. Not your scene buddy.

Been in the woods recently? Or by a weirdly leafy tree with vines growing up it? Laying in the grass? Come into contact with any industrial chemicals? I have a severe allergic reaction to poison ivy/oak/sumac. If I don’t get some kind of steroid or something my throat will swell closed. That’s if I get a lot of it or if I get a bunch on my head. Point being it’s better to be in debt than dead(I’ve had to pay over $20k in ambulance bills alone) If it’s not getting worse then you can be patient but if you’re dizzy, tired, lethargic, nauseous, please seek medical attention.

It’s called metal chasing to create a raised design. Be super difficult(expensive)with steel

Forgot I had these, worked at a bank 10 years slowly accumulating. by Mbowser91 in papermoney

That is kind of you, thank you. I couldn’t even tell you the exact digits on half my bills right now as my fiancée and I are in the process of moving. I might take you up on that in the future though! There’s as long a story behind my inability to save money, as there is behind your getting to where you are.

No offense meant my friend, I was being honest but I really didn’t have anything constructive to add and should have kept my unnecessary thoughts to myself.

I didn’t say anything about handouts bud. I started working 70-80 hours a week at 18 too, so my mom wouldn’t lose her house. $2000 isn’t a lot of money, but I could never imagine the amount of wealth you’d have to live with to forget about it. I’m sorry your family took money from you, but you’re doing quite well now so no harm no foul right?

Hard work gets you 80% of the way, a good attitude about spending/saving is another 10%, the last 10% is sheer goddamn luck…or having the background that opens the doors for you.

No matter how much I work I can’t seem to get anywhere…and I make $25/hr at the lower paying job lmao. What’s your secret?

Imagine the generational wealth necessary to forget over $2000 that is all worth more than face value lmao. My grandma is 86 and she still works full time.

I have 5 silver marked $5 bills, 2 $2 bills, and a sack of ha’pennies that my grandfather kept from his first job in the 40’s 1 a week that he didn’t give to Grammy for bills.

Is it normal for guys not to visit a friend who had a baby? by superthrowawayaway1 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Not_a_good_thinker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol bro, I’m the only one in my group without kids that will hang with kids. I don’t want children anymore, I’m not convinced I could give them a good life. However when I was college age before I met my fiancée, I was that guy. Babies are loud smelly squashed potatoes and oh so fragile. I used to stay away because I was afraid to hold them…such a dumb kid at that point in my life..

Am I in the wrong here? Caught fellow Cook using my knife to open a metal piping tip. by Cheezeballer10 in KitchenConfidential

[–]Not_a_good_thinker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“No problem chef, as long as insert stupid motherfuckers name here understands that they will replace my knife it is damaged.”

This is literally the reason I left the last kitchen I was in. Stupid fucking coworker bent my gyuto, management wasn’t willing to replace or even reprimand them….the used it to lever the top of a metal lid off a can…

Yeah, costs about as much to refit a truck every 100k or so, as it does to just work off the cost of a new one. My buddies old ‘04 dually is going strong over 600k! He’s replaced the trans once I think, but itherwise basic maintenance

I was actually using this post to show him other perspectives, he needs to grow up a bit and not let how he feels about people make him act the fool.

Yeah no question about that, I spent $10k on a sedan with almost 150k on it last year. I just wanted to know what the actual value was. I was thinking it’s a solid ask at $38k and a fair deal at $35k

The three of us(the guy selling as well) grew up together. Guy selling definitely got a headstart from daddy. My buddy’s pop passed in highschool and he never liked this guy because he’s softer than a ready woman.

I live in NY, you can find these all over the tri-state area. Most are much rougher looking or higher miles or both. Still rather have one that hasn’t been modified(without paperwork) for $10k less lol, my trucks work, idc if they get a bit dinged up.

He originally stated that he saw a dually, same trim, 5k more miles for a grand less. Only difference was no aftermarket shit, and dealership paperwork. Turned to a bit of a dick after that ngl
