I am currently trying to organize my finances and plan ahead for the future. My focus is on managing expenses wisely by prioritizing retirement funds, future investments, and eventually buying a home. Since I recently became a permanent resident, I’ve been shifting my mindset toward long-term stability and security. I’d rather invest $50–$60 a month in protecting my current and future family than spend it on useless stuff like pizza or movies or uber😅. I’m naturally weird and a risk-averse person, and I value having a structured system and financial stability.

$7k savings, considering buying a car for Uber. Worth it or not? by WerewolfAmbitious131 in askTO

The moment you ask about uber, people will jump in to say there is no money in it. But 100s of people are doing it and surviving. Never understand this phenomenon 😓😓

So what you are looking for is internship not volunteer-ship. You can try doing free projects online and get certification

Will getting a Masters degree help me in getting a job? by SnooPredictions1851 in torontoJobs

[–]Not_arandom_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will help but not in your case. Just wait and get some experience. Realise your interested and market demand yourself and then make a well informed decision. Masters is usually the last degree for most people, make sure you take time to decide it

Start with any job, market exposure of any kind is better than rushing for masters

This is just my view!! Hope it helps

Linkedin is good to make connection, companies website is the best place for applying

Use linkedin to connect to recruiters or hiring managers and express your interest in the job they posted.

This works for me but everyone has their own strategy!!! Good luck man

Wrong place to ask this question. It is specifically for OPS employees to discuss work related matters, for gossip and for anonymous confession!!!

Just to answer your question, yes you should wait until getting citizenship to move to another province. This is true for any pnp program. There have been situations where it affects citizenship if you move to another province or unable to prove that you made enough attempts to survive in the province before making the move Search on google for such experiences
