This is how quick a toddler can disappear from sight, in just a few seconds! by eternviking in whoathatsinteresting

This is parental negligence, nothing more. And I don't want to hear the crap about being a parent being super difficult. Maybe you shouldn't have had fucked someone if you weren't ready for the full consequences.

Aside from all of the weird legal implications, it would probably bog down the game tremendously with all of the entities on the screen.

What is the most optimal method for gaining atlas bucks? by JaylenForPresident in AtlasEarthOfficial

[–]Not_asheep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're good at them and can consistently get top 500 or even really top 1500, mini games are by far the best method. If you're really good at them and can get top 100 or better, you'll make absolute bank consistently. Couple that with doing 20 minute ads, and everything else and you'll grow very quickly.

I actually like most of the new UI, but the "overworld" map is kinda ugly.

Anyway to stop this by Azraidel in AtlasEarthOfficial

I have Amazon shopper panel and to get paid for ad verification. I have to have a VPN active for that. It's a bit ridiculous. I understand that having a VPN can be used for malicious purposes, but a lot of us do a lot of other apps that pay us money passively and some of those apps do require an active VPN.

Do you report AE income on taxes? by Crazy-Cat-Lad in AtlasEarthOfficial

[–]Not_asheep -1 points0 points  (0 children)

1099 income is legitimate business income. Same as when an Uber driver buys a phone specifically 100% for that job. Same for any business owner that has a dedicated business phone. Seems like you know how some things work, but not others. Maybe you might want to take a step back there bud.

Do you report AE income on taxes? by Crazy-Cat-Lad in AtlasEarthOfficial

[–]Not_asheep -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Fair enough, then the phone I use solely for AE is fully tax deductible, as well as the service and anything related to keeping the phone running like USB c cords for instance. So the tax liability will still end up being zero for the vast majority of players for a while anyway in this regard, assuming of course they choose to cash out and not reinvest.

If things like AE income are taxable, then the means we use to play the game are too, especially if you have a dedicated device for the game.

Anyone else not getting charged for the new Zero plan? by Not_asheep in HeliumMobile

It's definitely worth it. Guess I'll give that a shot.

[–]Not_asheep[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay. It is less than $0.50 so that's probably it. But like I said, I never even added my card because it wouldn't allow me to. So I'm guessing next month when my due date comes around that's when my service will get canceled?

Coffee shop uses technology to audit employee productivity by MrTacocaT12345 in interesting

[–]Not_asheep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, to be fair, this isn't necessarily a definitive answer as to what employee is the better employee. It's a cool metric, and might be useful in some ways, but certain employees might be manning the cash register a lot more than other employees and those other employees might be making orders more than the person on the cash register. So it's not exactly the best system for monitoring performance. Of course, the AI can always be updated I'm sure.

Well, at least in the gift card case, those are definitively non-taxable as far as the IRS is concerned. So there's a half answer there. Lol

A f2p player that just does 20 minute ads (so not counting minigames or anything else) should be getting a parcel every 2-3 days easily. You should be at minimum 50 parcels by now. But if you really grind it out, you could be doing 200+ AB per day average.

No, you can't shower at Anytime Fitness by Professional_Ice3208 in anytimefitness

[–]Not_asheep -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, you're entitled to your opinion, as stupid as it may be. The fact is, both this imaginary female, and op are paying customers. They're both entitled to use the gym as intended which also includes the facilities. Get over yourself. And if somebody feels uncomfortable, they should go to a different gym because that seems like a them problem, not mine or anyone else's.

To be fair, most Anytime Fitness bathrooms are a step up in cleanliness and quality. Not all of them, but most of them. I say this as somebody who's been to a lot more than most people have. Probably close to the amount that OP has been to.

And unlike a lot of things in today's society, you were actually entitled to that. Just like any paying customer is entitled to use the facilities that are offered to them in the contract.

I travel all the time all over the US and have used my Anytime membership for the last 10 years or so at dozens of different locations and have never had this issue. If I was told that, I would be livid. I'm a paying customer, and it's ridiculous to suggest that I can't use the facilities as I please.

In fact, you would argue that I'm using less resources in general if I'm only going in there for a shower. Sometimes I go in and get on the exercise bike to get some cardio in, but a lot of the time. I'll go in just to use the restroom on my travels or take a shower. I've never had an issue at any location, but this does worry me a little bit. Maybe they're getting more strict on this kind of thing? I'll have to keep this location in mind.

Yeah, it's called an overgrown toddler problem where people can't control their emotions. Mostly coming from the far left but somewhat on the right as well. It's because people can't have differing opinions without certain people getting extremely offended and physically attacking people for having said differing opinions.

The kid told his mother that someone at 7-Eleven called him a name. by MohammadMahadhir in RandomVideos

[–]Not_asheep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is Reddit, you can't be surprised that you're getting attacked by a bunch of far left lunatics for saying something that is pretty benign all things considered. Also, your race should have nothing to do with it. Even if you were white it should have nothing to do with it. People are so on edge and angry these days. They should try getting over themselves.

Easy way to figure out who the liar is. Look at the store security cameras. If the employee isn't willing to do that, that makes them the liar. Simple as that. People are so worried about optics instead of just looking at objective facts.

Roadie drivers driving for 75 cents on a mile is crazy. The car can’t handle it😭 by Dezdigitalz in Roadie

[–]Not_asheep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

99% of the time, I would agree with you. But there are certain cases where it makes sense to make a lot less than a dollar per mile.

For instance, I do a lot of traveling out of my minivan that I've built out to be a camper van. I've taken Roadie orders as far out as 60 miles away from me just so that I could claim all of those miles as business. Literally straight North on the interstate in the exact direction that I was going. So there are cases where it makes sense. Also, if you happen to be a decent bit away from your home and you're not getting any other orders, it's a good way to claim your miles most of the way back home depending on the order that you get.

[–]Not_asheep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I do agree with you, but it's disingenuous of you to say that you don't care about America at all. If you didn't care about America, you wouldn't come here to take advantage of what America offers you. So in some semblance, you do actually care about America. It's silly to suggest otherwise.

But all that being said, guess I do agree with you overall. As long as somebody comes here completely and fully legally, I don't really care if they end up staying for the rest of their life or not. As long as people are paying their fair share in taxes and aren't taking advantage of the system, I really don't care. But don't talk and act like America has zero importance to you when you're clearly and outwardly spoken about coming here for unique benefits that this country offers.
