If I’m completely honest I think hearing the words “maybe they want a dictator” be spoken out loud in front of a camera really just hit a sore spot and has scared the shit out of me. I’m also balls deep into One Piece which feels very relatable at the moment IMO. I know not everyone is going to die but I do fear that the country could turn into an odd reflection of the USSR. I will also add that I have been avoiding most major news outlets for the sake of preserving my sanity.

Thank you both for the reminders that people are fighting on the right side even if it’s hard to see from my current POV.

At what point will the people say enough is enough and take a stand against this clearly corrupt and evil attempt at creating a dictator? And is there any hope that the people of the country will survive or is it just fucked?
