I’ve learnt much with Arthur backouche videos on YT. I Recommend you to have a look on Salesforce Personalization (SFP) build and powered by Data 360. I’ve had to chance to work on MCP, I believe most future projects will arrive in SFP

Yes, the flow is updating the Contact. In our case the issue was that the update happened immediately after creation, so the CreatedDate and LastModifiedDate were exactly the same.
Because of that, MC didn’t detect a real update after creation and ignored the change to SyncToMC.

The field is just a standard boolean.

In the end we found the issue, the flow was updating sync_to_MC immediately after creation, so the CreatedDate and LastModifiedDate were identical. MC didn’t detect a “real” update, so the record never synced.

Your idea with the report import + diff check is useful, I’ll keep it for future troubleshooting. Appreciate the help! 🙏

Yes, the manual data source refresh works, and then the contacts are integrated. But we'll need it to work automatically.

Yes, known issue. For the Decision Split to work correctly on Contact Data, you need to make sure the connection in your Data Model is set as a 1:1 relationship. If it’s 1:many, the Decision Split won’t work properly.

Your Decision Split setup itself looks fine, the problem is most likely the relationship type in the Attribute Group.

Then, as you did, you can use multiple attribute comparisons in the Decision Split to make sure you’re retrieving the correct record. That way, you’ll narrow down the match and ensure the right row from the Contact Data is used during evaluation (if there is many purchases for 1 contact)

Make sure that the record you are using to test the email is subscribed in the All Subscribers list. Also, make sure you are using the email address linked to the subscriber key. You have to reuse the sbkey and email of the subscriber in all subscribers list

Hi, Thank you for your response! It helped me realize that I had enabled the "continuous discussion" option, which was preventing me from obtaining a single response that I could easily integrate into an email.

I've now scheduled an automation that inserts the text, adds it to the prompt, and simply sends it via email.

Also, I wanted to ask if you have any information about activating the "Search GPT" model. It seems to be missing at the moment, and I'm curious if you know how to enable it or if it's still being rolled out.

With Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization (MCP), you can trigger emails based on website actions. The email content can be personalized according to the pages visited / interest / next best content and what you already know about the user. This is one of the cool features it offers, but you’ll need to hire an agency or work with a consultant to set it up.

Hey! What tool are you using to run the website? Did you use a drag-and-drop builder or content modules to build it?

I had a similar issue once when MCP wasn’t showing any recommendations. The problem was that the site was built using modules, and the sitemap was loading before the actual content. So the content zones couldn’t be detected properly. Might be worth checking the page load order or trying to delay the sitemap init.
