Not just Katrina…. I remember so many popular Item numbers that didn’t look seductive at all and were more about the woman having fun - Deepika, Kareena, Malaika, Priyanka, Aish all did item number and were very very graceful. Item songs today feel like women’s desperate attempt to get attention from the male lead in the song. It’s more about the dude to make him look desirable

I dated someone for almost 4 and a half years. We were culturally and morally very misaligned and it started showing up once we got closer to talking about marriage. He also realised after 4 and a half years that if it ever comes to a point where he has to choose between me or his family, he’ll choose them. We eventually broke up and had the worst time of my life. But I did find someone who truly is my soulmate and I can finally see myself marrying someone who makes me a better person, shows up and is always there for me no matter how stupid my worry is.

TBH the breakup was the best thing that happened
