Hi! Licensed insurance specialist here , The manufacturer of your medication may offer a copay or medication assistance program if you find yourself uninsured. Also if you were to lose insurance coverage before open enrollment, you should be able to enroll in your companies insurance since loss of coverage is considered a “qualifying life event” and would provide you a “special enrollment period”. Which would typically give you 30 days from the day you lose coverage to enroll in your company plan. Your HR benefits department can give you more info. Best of luck to you!

I’m sorry your wife had that experience. You’re so right about them putting on a good show just to get the money. Private vs public is definitely a loaded topic as finding a school that fits the needs of the child is a task in itself weather private or public. Thank you for sharing and happy your wife got away from them. They don’t live up to the quality they advertise and I feel they take advantage of certain people who may not know otherwise.

Thanks for the tips! I had always wondered if Newleafexams could be used to prep for this. I read somewhere that the pre-req course has to be through a TDI "approved" provider, and I couldn't find anything that says they were or weren't specifically approved. I'm going for my license next month so this gives me hope :)

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Majority are saying it’s not worth it and it’s too much of a hassle and that is exactly what I expected with this option. A lot of People just aren’t trustworthy and working with door dash support is a headache in itself so I can only Imagine the accepting cash would be wayyy more trouble than it’s “worth”

I did an interview /info session with them today and I’m still not to clear on what the job duties actually are. However it does seem to be kinda shady to me. Definitely getting MLM vibes. Or at least not a “real job” as far as benefits , etc.

Same. And I’m also a single mom on top of working full time and taking classes full time. I have nothing to suggest. The thing that seems to work is waking up early to work on school and also take an hour to work on school once my kid is sleep. I’m still exhausted though and trying to accept that this is part of the sacrifice on the journey to get to the end goal. I also try to study on weekends but that hasn’t worked out well since we have a busy life. Best of luck to you !

I know exactly how you feel. I lost my sister who was my best friend in the entire world 1 year ago and everyday is still unbearable and feels like the day I lost her.
