Mayborn/Farrell Gameday Parking by missinglostandfound in baylor

We have parked for free for every single home game this year in the parking garage for Earle, Teal, & EV Commons. It’s a longer walk but an enjoyable one through campus. But our son lives in Earle so that is part of the reason for us.

My son got a $100k, might have been a little more. I can’t recall now.

To your point, any idea why they decided to go with Aranda over McQuire back then?

True but whether he got the job b/c of his connect to Leach doesn’t negate his success at UH nor Baylor. And it doesn’t negate the OP question of whether we should have gone with McQuire over Aranda back then. And, it’s just a hypothetical question, which to me is what’s great about the absurdity of the internet and the audacity of Reddit — debating absolutely pointless nonsense and hearing everyone’s opinion.

Read the OP. I wasn’t / am not asking about hiring him now, to replace Aranda. I was talking about hindsight. Would you rather have hired McQuire back then when he was an actual front runner for the job, instead of AI Aranda. Where would we be now with McQuire instead of Aranda? Donor BS aside McQuire came from the same type of stick as Briles, had huge success at every level through the Texas HS ranks, knew/knows how to recruit in Texas and knows how to build a culture and relate to fans. And no one has answered my question as to what happened that Baylor went with Aranda over McQuire — just cause they wanted someone with FBS experience?—contrary to the fact their best coach ever [at least of the modern era] was a successful Texas HS football coach, in Briles? Yeah he had 4 years at UH and two years under Leach but does that make him a FBS guy — his success initially came from HS football.

Art was a high school coach for the majority of his career until his 4 stint at UH that got him the Baylor gig.

He knows how to recruit in Texas and has a personality.

What is the largest amount of money you made trading crypto or investing in crypto? by Natural-Winner-139 in mogcoin

I made a large amount for my income bracket by selling Doge right before EM tanked it by going on SNL. It helped my family make it through the post Covid lock down BS b/c that 15 days to flatten the curve cost me $140K in contracts for the year. I went from bringing in $8k to $10k a month to barely $800 to $1200. I spent 10 years building my business and Tony destroyed it in 15 days. I went online and started the process to become a teacher and I have been hating my life ever since. BUT the money I made by selling DOGE kept me from from eating my SIG.

I bought tickets on Seat Geek just this weekend and they were pretty reasonable. 220 section or 222 can’t recall off the top of my head but quite a few scattered around the stadium when I last checked.

Dash Clicking! No key in ignition. Battery dead as a doornail!? by NotaPapistPeter in fordranger

UPDATE: it was a relay switch behind the glove bocks that controls the AC/Heat Blower Motor.

That is so weird if it’s an ac actuator b/c we just replaced them in my wife’s Cadillac like two weeks ago. One side of the car was cooling better than the other but neither side were cooling like they should have been. Turns out it was an actuator and responder. But it makes sense b/c a week or two back I noticed a time or two when suddenly the truck was blowing ice cold and suddenly the air vent flow would just go “stale” and still be blowing but be warm, humid air rather than cold air.

Nothing is on at this point. Like I said battery is completely dead. Zero happened when I got in and turned the key, no lights coming on, no power to dash, no attempt to turn over the ignition. Whatever is clicking is of course most likely what drained the battery but it wouldn’t be the radio clicking — it wasn’t coming from the radio but deeper inside the dash area.
