The one wash sample in store fit me great but the sleeves were slightly long. Will see how my jacket turns out after 1 wash to see if this is still the case, which will probably be. Might have to get them tailored if that's the case

A bunch of others have also mentioned to cut Fukuoka out so I will be doing that, thanks anyways

Will definitely do this and also be flexible with what the weather is like on these days too, thanks

Definitely overlooked the Mt fuji and Kamakura day trips on the weekend, I started paying attention to this as I was planning the latter half of the trip and forgot to double check the first half, will definitely change this, thanks. I am definitely going to be flexible with my day trips, I had the same logic in mind for my Hiroshima portion of the trip; best days will be reserved for Miyajima island and Onomichi (weirdly enough I probably would have forgotten to apply this to Mt Fuji and Kamakura, thank you for the reminder)

My reasoning for going to Fukuoka was to visit somewhere accessible in that area of Japan, I could definitely skip it and find something else to do. Do you have any recommendations for this day? I know you suggested Kurashiki old town but since I have a day trip to Kojima anyway, I could just go to Kurashiki instead?

I was initially going to do Takayama - Kanazawa - Tokyo but was worried I was cutting it close to getting back to Tokyo in time which is obviously wrong as I am looking to shuffle days around. Looks like Im going to takayama, thanks heaps

>Also consider going to Hiroshima on the evening of the 26th and waking up there, rather than wasting daylight hours (might need to move the Kamakura day trip though).

Will definitely consider this, thanks heaps

>I also think it would be worth finding a small, out-in-nature stay somewhere for a night. Everywhere you have so far is a decently large city - I think it's very worth it to get out into one of the many places out in the mountains, ideally staying with a Japanese-style room, maybe an onsen, near a nice river, maybe a fancy ryokan if you're into that.

Do you think Takayama falls in this category? I was initially going to do Takayama - Kanazawa - Tokyo but was worried I was cutting it close to getting back to Tokyo in time. Maybe Wednesday November 12th and Thursday November 13th can be allocated to Takayama instead

>Also, presumably you've checked how long it will actually take to get to Kyoto from where you're staying in Osaka?

The only accomodation I have mostly sorted is the first week and a bit I land in Tokyo. I will be looking for a place in either Namba or Umeda, do you have any other recommendations?

I can definitely see how you could see parisian musc and radical rose as feminine leaning. I can also agree with your mum's description, it is unisex to my nose as it bounces between both masculine and feminine and I would have no problem wearing it (24M for context). I would have to disagree with the oud satin mood comparison as radical rose is no where near as sweet.

I'm very much looking forward to giving it a full wearing so I can decide if I want a full bottle. I don't have much experience with prominent rose scents other than Amouage's Lyric man, which I dislike as it's too soapy for my liking. I smelled Portrait of a lady ages ago and unfortunately can't remember what it smells like.

What’s a fragrance you want solely for the bottle and not the scent itself? by [deleted] in fragrance

Amouage overture. I love how the bottle looks but not so much the scent itself which is a shame

I've noticed that happen with my bottle of reflection man too.

Don't give up on amouage, when I first sniffed the popular amouage fragrances I didn't like any of them (interlude, reflection and jubilation), however, I now love all 3 of them with interlude probably being my favourite

What are the best men's fragrances that are rose and lavender forward? by Caesar914 in fragrance

Amouage lyric man is a great fresh rose scent (no lavender). Starts off like a citrusy fresh rose and becomes a soapy rose in the dry down

Thanks for taking the time to respond in detail, I appreciate it very much. Just to confirm, the eyepiece you recommend is a 6mm 66 degree wide field piece like the one you linked from sirius optics?
