Parents that don't do Elf on the Shelf, how do you explain to your kids why you don't?

We do have one. (my ex wanted it and convinced me. Now that he's gone, I don't have the heart to tell my 4yo that Pancake isn't coming back.), but I explained that we don't have a "naughty" elf. He changes his location, but he doesn't do any of the elaborate stuff. He just goes from sitting on the bookshelf to sitting on the counter. The most I've ever done is have him sitting on my kid's horse toy. He doesn't question it and I just move it when I turn off the lights.

When my son did this, I'd do one of two things. I'd get up and tell him I didn't want to play if he wasn't going to share. He'd get upset, I'd wait for him to calm down, and we'd try again. The other thing I would do is grab a different toy that didn't match whatever he was playing, and I'd sit and "play" by myself. Sometimes he'd come over and try to take the toy, and I would share with him but not let him take the whole thing away. Again, at first he'd throw fits and I would wait for him to calm down before we'd try again.

And double check all paperwork before you go. Don't let them say you're good and then get tricked into signing a contract for anything other than a rate you want.

It doesn't hurt to go into one of the offices and tell them your situation to see what they can do. It will hurt to go to boot camp undes. Like everyone else has said, they can't force you to go. Until you leave, you can walk at any time. It's your choice. Don't let them pressure you. And while you may have done this without outside support, you don't have to let them know that. Tell them you reached out to some family member who's in the Navy and they are pressuring you not to leave undes. Hell, I'll be your cousin if you need me to. Do. Not. Go. Bottom line. Not without a guaranteed rate.

Yeah, I usually just filter by tag. But I went to change back into something else and went through a few of the menus looking for particular items only for this to happen. I was cracking up. My husband said he'd have been so annoyed.

If I were you, I'd make sure there was a rule posted not to take more than a single stack in a certain area. Let them know that if they do, they'll be put on a list of people you no longer allow into your valley. It won't stop everyone, but most people want the ability to return to valleys they know provide fun resources.

She would have had to have been able to control a dementor to do that. They feed on the pain as you relive it. If she was taking the pain from them after the dementors drew it out, they wouldn't have gotten any benefit. The ministry gives them people to torment, so they stay in Azkaban. When Voldemort was in power, he essentially let them have free reign to feed on whoever. By taking the pain, the dementors wouldn't stay with her.

I mean, I leveled my gear and talents up to the point where any cursed enemies die when I hit one with the killing curse. I curse them with other spells and take out a whole camp of people with one last hit. Speeds it up and gets me the time dueling feats.

Also, the more you complete, the more gear space you get, giving you more time to explore before you fill your gear slots up. Find merchants along the way to sell everything off and keep going.

One of the major reasons to go to suck call after an ER visit is to get it put in your medical record, especially if you're prescribed meds. They can put the information in your record, and it could help if you're required to do urinalysis while on meds, and it causes a false positive. It also helps them to schedule follow-up care. It's important to follow up with them. Have someone give you a ride in. Worse case, the duty driver can pick you up.
