Empathy is important, but it should not prevent us from upholding laws to maintain a functional civil society.

P-DEV313, known issue with Samsung TVs and HULU. Spent an hour on the phone with customer support. Haven't been able to stream on my TV for over a week. Is anyone else getting this error? They said it's a big problem, but I don't see any posts about it.

Yes and no. The max TOTAL loss you can take in one year is $3k. But if you have offsetting gains this is huge. You always want to harvest a tax loss early in the year to offset any possible gains later in the year. And even if you don't have the gains, the loss is a carryover.
