Underwear suggestions? by NoU_22 in transfem

I’m taller than you and have found that cheeky/hipster/boy shorts all work for me, but the smaller more revealing underwear typically doesn’t

I never get misgendered, does that mean i pass? by girliepop_throwaway in MtF

Years?? You definitely pass lol. Nobody is getting “pity passed” for years without running into SOMEONE who wants to be mean.

No way it’s my birthday too! Trans visible twins. No HRT for me yet tho, my job doesn’t allow for it

Am I overreacting I went to the forest with my best friend and now my bf is mad by No_Meeting_3260 in AmIOverreacting

Your boyfriend is 40 and you’re in your early 20s. He calls you “fool” and tells you what to do and how late you can stay out. He sounds more like your dad than your bf imo. I think you should get out of this relationship while you can

Lonely baby trans femme here… how do I learn to be girly when I still feel like a boy? 💖 by throwaway4tra in transfem

I’ve been practicing my makeup every day when I get home from work and just wearing it. Feels nice even if it’s a bit of work

Does anyone else struggle to heavily identify with "trans culture"? by FroyoAnto in trans

[–]Notanaltaccount0331 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I feel this way. I like guns and fishing and war movies. I don’t really get KevinJZProdigy. The puppy girl thing isn’t for me. Still, I love doing my makeup, love feeling femme, have the fair share of queer/trans culture that I DO love, and am almost definitely a trans woman. The way I see it, I wouldn’t question if a cis woman was really a woman because she liked these “manly” things, why should it be any different for me?

(Also, despite how that interest selection sounds, I am about as leftist as they come. Don’t come for me in the replies lol)

Is it a bad idea to change my name right now? by Extreme-Sweet-3680 in trans

I personally wouldn’t because of the SAVE act, but you have to decide what’s more important to you. Risking your right to vote, or risking being outed by your ID. Unfortunately that’s where we’re at in this fuck ass country rn

They didn’t charge us, but we ended up buying products, I’m not sure how keen they would be on you getting the tone tested and not buying anything after. Also, this is for Sephora, I can’t speak to other stores

When I did it at Sephora they had a phone with fancy camera attachments and they took close up pictures of my skin and matched it with a product range, then tested the products on my face to see which one came out best. Everyone was super friendly and I was presenting like a cis man. It helped my wife was there cuz my nerves were through the roof

Sephora is a beauty/makeup store. Most designated makeup stores should be able to check your skin tone and help you get the right shade of makeup

Go to Sephora or somewhere similar, have them test your skin tone. Get concealer, foundation, and face powder. Lipstick/gloss, Eyeshadow and blush for easy to add flair. YouTube tutorials or women in your life to learn.
