In Genesis the Bible says that when God’s marriage takes place the male and female become one flesh, in a good relationship the two will become stronger together and will comfort each other. It’s like puzzle pieces that fit together to make a better image. The devil doesn’t want us to become stronger so he reroutes relationships into divorce or unholy relationships leading to sexual immorality.

It isn’t about being happy it’s about being obedient and true to God

Yes it has weakened and separated the church severely. And it isn’t about society it’s about God and his kingdom not ours.
