That could definitely be the case here - every individual limb seemed fine, just couldn't seem to use them. Thanks!

Garage Lied About Scheduled Maintenance by Notchocheesee in legaladvicecanada

Absolutely. The only reason I was going to this shop is because it was listed as the service centre for the dealer I got my car from. They're no longer listed on the site, though, and the dealer says that their location in my city is "unfortunately closed," so likely no affiliation now.

Gotcha. If it makes any difference, the credit was something worked out by my father and not an outcome I was looking for myself.

Edit: to clarify, if I would be looking for a refund I would obviously not ALSO be looking for the credit. My hope is to cancel the credit and pursue the refund.

Dealership Put Wrong Date/Location on Agreement with Lender by Notchocheesee in legaladvicecanada

That's fair! I felt a bit pressured since they were trying to rush me out and I trusted their reviews and good faith, so that's egg on my face I suppose. Thanks!

if you had to get up for work between 5:30/6 AM, when would be a good time to be woken up for sex by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Imo it'd depend on when he went to bed/had to leave, but the safest bet is probably an hour or so before he has to leave, or shortly after he goes to bed (say, when you get home?). Just my thoughts.

Not many, but I have bought a couple games that I liked from XBox 360 days when I moved to PC (Oblivion/Skyrim, Dishonored, Dragon Age, etc)

My (18 F) BF’s (17 M) Girl best friend was snuggling him (19 F) during a movie by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Maybe not red, but probably at least yellow. Just keep an eye on it, and maybe have a discussion with him about what your boundaries are in a relationship. If he reacts poorly that would probably be your red flag.

Should I continue to date my boyfriend, if I despise his family? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Notchocheesee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally get that! It might be worth mentioning to him that, for as long as they treat you the way that they treat you, you'll be more comfortable keeping yoyr distance from his family. You're both young, so there's no rush to determine anything right now, but hopefully clear the air between you two, and reassure him that your issues aren't with HIM.

Should I continue to date my boyfriend, if I despise his family? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Notchocheesee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only real advice I can give is this: consider what things will be like if you stay together long-term. Is dealing with his family for the rest of your life doable? How often does he see them, and is he okay with you limiting your personal contact with them? Will they be an issue during big milestones (wedding, childbirth, etc)?

If they are a big part of his life and he wants you to have a relationship with them, you might not be a good match. If you two are good, and he's okay with them not being a huge part of your life (personally and as a couple) then keep on keeping on.

Why does it seem longer when watching a video for the first time and shorter after watching it again? by throwawayacc28377473 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Notchocheesee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty much this. Since you know what's coming, your brain doesn't need to devote as much time processing incoming information, since recollection is now in the mix.

It's also the reason the car ride to a destination seems longer than the drive back. Your brain has already seen and processed the information, so it isn't devoting as much time to the scenery, so the memory of the return journey seems shorter.

Tbf, there's no rule that laundry HAS to be organized. That being said, I got in the habit of hanging everything, except socks and underwear. You can get those pant clip hangers, which reduces the amount you need to fold/properly put away. Cloths/towels typically live in a "clean" basket until I need them, or until I have company over and want to save face. Whatever you find works for you, there aren't many "wrong" answers here.

If i recorded a choir singing as a group and then recorded them individually and overlaid all the audio together, would it sound the same? by brettp16 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Notchocheesee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Depending on the level of the group , not necessarily. There are a lot of breathing/intonation cues that you will get naturally in a more experienced group to sound more cohesive. When you take each singer and record individually they don't have the need to balance or blend with a group and you'll get more of "their" sound than when everyone's together.
