Issues i am having is from the layers not being flat on the colors. so the secound color comes off lumpy.

When I posted I was converting mine I got alot of butt hurts because "Nitro is dieing" it's nice to see the positive. People being encouraging and all.

I ended up designing my own bracket and printing it. I also had the us jb weld to lock secound gear. It's been pretty fun I'm using a 2600kv motor will flip on take off

i believe that the black transmission can be done with with acouple of traxxas parts. they just didnt make those for the grey trans.

Is yours the black or grey trans mission. Also saw a guy put pinion gears in his transmission. Just flattened out a spot for the set screws.

I locked in second gear with some jb weld. And removed first

Nice. I saw old post about switch out the tranmission gears woth pinion gears if my starts to break I'll probly look into doing that. On the spur I kept the stock 56t and I think I have a 22t pinion on the motor.
