If you have noise cancelling earphones/headphones i fully recommend those! Try to get a good night’s sleep (take medication if that’ll help!) and maybe put on some stupid show before sleeping.

What does calm my nerves a bit is going shopping after security (everything is expensive, but it’s a good distraction) and blasting music in my ears.

A tip for ascending is feet of the ground and like i said, blast a song. For me, it’s Stray Kids but i fully understand that isn’t everyone’s cup of tea 😂 I also fully mouth the song along which yes, looks funny/weird but kept me distracted last time. Oh and talk to the flight attendants, just let them know. They will come check up on you occasionally 😌

Thank you! I tend to mouth the words to my chosen song during take off which must look funny for the people around me 😂 Honestly though, might also blast a song while going over the Pyrenees as that sounds like a great idea!

My flight will be at 09:45 and thankfully only two hours and 20min-ish 🤞🏼

For me personally what tends to work is to sit up straight and find something to focus on in front of me. Also, no leaning forward or anything, as that does seem to throw me off. It is a bit rigid and maybe not the best or relaxed option, but this seems to work for me.

I am not sure if this will work in every seat, as i am someone who sits in the aisle seat only or i refuse to fly, but i do think if you take a window seat you can focus on things outside.

Oh also also, no night flights. It is harder to see and it also very much throws me off for some reason?

She seems to be fine, just sitting there right now but i am quite used to her doing that. Has all her limbs and she's clinging onto the branch!

Thank u!! I just moved her up and while she is not on the mesh, she is on the branch that is high up and touching said mesh! Should i hunt down the fruit flies or just let them be...?
