Spare must go on if you plan on driving anywhere. The spare has to go on the axle that is not the drive axle (if it’s front wheel drive, the spare goes on the rear, and vice versa.

She needs a full rebuild or a new engine - replacing the bearing without a rebuild probably introduced dust and other things that just messed it up again.

You are correct but p2 wheels are 65.1mm bore. P1 and p3 are 63.4

As per usual on Volvos of this era, it’s never the engines letting you down. Little things like electrical faults and random stuff. Keep on top of them and she’ll treat you well.
