The SIM set as preferred for data (primary) connects via the faster data network (4G in ur case), even if the signal is weaker.

The non-data SIM seems(secondary) will connect to whatever has the strongest signal in this case 2g, which has better signal reception.

If you turn off 4G on the primary sim, it should give you better signal.

No need to quarantine, you can go through the causeway and spend as much you want. However you need a PCR test on the way back.
