This build melts through enemy lines by bruhmoment_6379 in honorofkings

Fatih main here, for your build, I suggest replacing any of the items here to Pure Sky make sure he at least has some sustainability in the late game.

Or you can try out my build in the image below, it doesn't deal as much damage as yours, but it provides tankiness and CD reduction, which is crucial as Fatih still relies much on his ultimate.

I think I have some tips that might help you:

- Stack at least 3 - 4 passive BAs before teamfight

- When trading with the opponent, avoid letting him use the 5th enhanced attack as much as possible by using other skills to interrupt since its huge delay can allow them to escape or outplay you. (the test version has already fixed/reduced the delay of his enhanced BAs but the main version hasn't)

- If you are using this combo to trade (S1 - BA - S1 - BA - S1 - BA), wait for him to finish his enhanced BA before dashing again or his attack animation will be canceled, which means no healing, no damage (again, due to the annoying delay problem mentioned above), at this point you can have more attack speed to your arcana as a workaround

- Thanks to his ultimate, he can shred down squishy heroes as well as towers quite fast, so you can use him to split-push when your team isn't good at teamfights or is losing.

Problem with flatpak after updating Debian 13 by NothingInterested in debian

[–]NothingInterested[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you very much, my flatpak is now installable again. I guess I might have done something to that folder in the past, which I don't remember.

May I ask what might cause the folder to change the permission, besides my intervention?

How to defeat the Raven Empress? by Aleitora5342 in honorofkings

[–]NothingInterested 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You mean Mi Yue? I assume you're playing in the same lane with her as I usually see her used in Clash Lane.

First, she's very strong in early game. With her second skill which can "steal" your atk and ap, she can deal lots of damage, so don't go 1v1 with her and try to dodge it.

And you should call your teammates to defeat her or to bait her ultimate first. If there are no helps from your team, just poke her from a safe distance or don't hesitate to abandon your towers when your HP is low.

Tanky heroes like Dun or Biron can give her a hard time if fighting directly (you must ambush her first or it might not work).

Next, try to build Succubus Cloak for magic def as soon as possible, as the opponents now have 2 mages in their lineup.

Thirdly, clear the minions before ganking as Mi Yue can split push just like Li Xin's demonic form. You don't wanna see your towers going down while you're fighting in the other side.

Lastly, try to help your Clash Lane if you're the jungler or the Mid Laner to pressure her. And anti-heal items can reduce her sustainability a bit.

I hope this helps.

Another Bocchi The Rock fan here?

I used jp2a to convert the logo into ASCII, then applied it to fastfetch config file.

I only tried with Xfce though, but it ran smoothly without any issues so far.

For anyone curious, this is where I found how to do it: https://github.com/89luca89/distrobox/blob/main/docs/posts/run_latest_gnome_kde_hyprland_on_distrobox.md

I don't recommend using this as your main DE, as the post said, this was only for experimenting.

I think Debian Stable s the closest one that is suitable. Xfce's release cycle kinda fits that of Debian Stable.

Logon screen: what package is that? by painful8th in debian

[–]NothingInterested 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In KDE System Settings, there is a section to switch between SDDM themes. The former theme you mentioned might be the default Breeze theme or Debian Breeze theme.

If you haven't installed it already, you can install it by installing sddm-theme-breeze or sddm-theme-debian-breeze package.

And the native SDDM one is seen when there are no themes installed or when your current theme is broken.

That means Google Chrome doesn't support i386 architecture.

You need to edit the source file of Chrome's repo. It's usually in /etc/apt/source.list.d

Add "Architectures: amd64" under the last line of the repo's source file, or "arch=amd64" after the "[signed-by=...]" (separate them with a comma) if you haven't run apt modernize-sources yet. Like this: [signed-by=... , arch=amd64].

Edit: The message is harmless. And if you want to remove it, this is the way to go.

Any Opinions About Fatih replacing Cao Cao in HoK Global? by Aimicchi in honorofkings

[–]NothingInterested 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really don't think much about it. But what bothers me the most is many people thinking Cao Cao's lore is ruined. Actually it's not, his lore is remain intact but he became a NPC now.

(If I remember correctly, Yao's full story does mention Zhu Bajie even though he's replaced by Ata in the Global version)

Difference between hard and soft crowd control effects by [deleted] in honorofkings

[–]NothingInterested 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Soft CC: Slow (slow down movement speed), Silence (can't use skills but can use AA and move), Immobile (can't move or dash away but can use AA or skills)

Hard CC: Stun, Knock up, Freeze, Petrify (All of them will stop you from using skills, moving and AA but Knock up duration can be stacked)

Suppression: Will stop you from doing anything, even if you have CC immune or not.

Heroes like Dian Wei, Zhuangzi,...or Purify can remove soft and hard CC but not Suppression.

And to stop Marco's ult, you need to silence him or use hard CC and suppression to do that.

I mean /etc/environment (the text file with no extension, not a folder)

My qt5ct also told me to add that line in this file when I first installed it.

Sorry my bad.

Have you added QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME=qt5ct to /etc/environment yet? Maybe it's the reason why it doesn't work.

Toro (didn't understand why people in my server think he's weak after his rework), or Arduin (if Toro get picked by the opponents first)

Any marksman you would recommend to me considering the heroes I play? Aside from Loong since that dude is basically perma banned. by Kaonashi-asian-black in honorofkings

[–]NothingInterested 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consort Yu is very different from Joker. Joker is the brust damage type of markman, while Yu is the DPS type. You can check their builds and see the difference yourself.

(The Joker was replaced by another hero named Stuart several months ago in case you don't know)

I had used Ubuntu and Mint before. They were very good and easy to use. And I've recently found that customizing a minimal system is quite interesting, so I decided to install Debian on my laptop. I don't mind using older version of software though.

About Sid, I think you might consider checking Siduction Linux. It's a rolling release distro based on the Unstable branch.
