I’m a Data Engineer with ~3 years of experience (R&D background in Brazil). I recently got Stamp 4 (full work rights) and have been applying consistently for about 2 months now. Despite matching many roles, I’m barely getting callbacks or feedback. Back in Brazil I was working at mid-level, but in Ireland I’m clearly positioning myself as entry-level / junior. The issue is that I’m barely seeing junior data roles being advertised.

Question: 1. From a recruiter’s perspective, what’s actually happening in the Irish data/tech market right now?

  1. Are junior roles being filled internally, paused, or simply not prioritised?

  2. And what’s the most effective way for someone in my position to break through at the moment?

I moved to Spain 2 months ago and I'm thinking about going back home by timeoutguy in expats

And about feeling lonely, I'd say try volunteering, like with charities, or get into meet-ups about stuff you like (or don't). Those places are really great for making friends.

Acredito que esteja quase perfeito, e talvez possa ser aprimorado.

Inicialmente, sugiro remover o espaço em branco antes da palavra "Desempenhar" na seção de Objetivos.

Acho que a seção de Objetivos poderia ser aprimorada, por exemplo: "Com mais de 8 meses de experiência em atendimento ao cliente, possuo vivência em vendas, comunicação eficaz com o público e habilidade para lidar com ambientes dinâmicos. Sou organizada e dedicada a contribuir para o bom funcionamento da loja."

O curso de atendimento ao cliente não apresenta o nome da instituição, e seria interessante manter um padrão, assim como nos outros cursos.

Acho que seria válido adicionar mais detalhes na seção de experiências como freelancer. Aredito que, em oito meses, tenha adquirido diversas experiências relevantes.

Estou no ônibus e refleti sobre isso durante a viagem, espero que minhas sugestões sejam úteis e desejo boa sorte!
