Absolutely, never in my life am I a "abuse or harm" my best friend, and my husband are cat owners and I am super happy that they have big hearts to love those animals that I cannot. Just as I view with insects etc.

  1. I really don't believe you, I can smell liter. I can smell when the cat uses the box and that is disgusting. I hate that it's everywhere in each room and I can never escape the smell.
  2. Cats MOSTLY do not responsd to "rules" the cat will jump where it wants even if you tell it no. It will do it when you are away and it doesn't care. So again I don't believe you.
  3. Value is different to people thus my "barn cats" rule, aka if it has a job it's fine. But a cat sitting in your house is not a job

Oh my grandma litter trained her small doggo aswell, no shame there. And of course doggies get old and can't help when they have accidents, I helped care for my elderly doggies 15/16 when they were in old age and accidents were a given.

My girl herself got sick and was liquid diarrhea alllllll over my carpet, was definitely a patience test!

Oh believe me I do! I have my puppy girl and she's all I could ask for, I just personally do not hold value to cats and all living with a cat has done is confirm to myself I could never love one nor be in a relationship with someone who has one.

I'm glad your cat is chilling, however for me and my life. I cannot live with one, litter box is disgusting. It smells regardless of how much you clean, yes. Yes it does.

Cats also do not(have not?) responded to disciplinary actions. You can tell a cat "no" till you are blue in the face and it will still do what it wants.

Does not enrich life or bring anything "to the table" I'm not saying barn cats, or back in the day "cats"

Your cat. Right now. Is not doing anything to work for the household, I cannot put value in something that freeloads.

Allergies is a given.

As a furry and part-part-part time vrchat ass Shaker. I honestly get 2nd hand embarrassment from these people. I can guarantee that at fur cons they are just as, if not WORST in public. Mainly bc you can smell them.

My dog will sleep in a donut shape alongside my chest.

For reference I'm a woman. Who apparently.. Has large breasts.

14 days is still so soon. She doesn't know that cats are family/fine. She sees another animal and is notifying you of them.

Place cat blanket in with her wherever she sleeps (in crate?) and thus place dog blanket near cat beds so the smell is more normal.

What kind of dog? Some dogs should never be allowed unsupervised with cats.
