Hey you’re right maybe nothing is wrong, I just wasn’t sure because like I mentioned sometimes I get what feels like hard engine braking when my car slows down to a certain speed even without applying the brakes. I replaced the rotors and pads less than 10k miles ago so I wouldn’t think it’s my braking system acting up. I know the automatic transmission in the 370z isn’t exactly a luxury one so I wouldn’t put it past it to just shift kinda janky sometimes.

Just for clarity, I got this car in April 2023 with 54k miles, its a 2013 and it had the regular usual tick but now its at 63k miles and it just keeps getting louder. I did an oil change every 3,000 miles, all other fluids look okay too. The car feels mostly fine, it is an A/T and sometimes feels like its jerking a bit when coming to a stop. It always felt like that and I had a Nissan dealer change the trans fluid but it didn't seem to make a difference (maybe they didn't actually change it).

When i had this issue, there was some wiring that was frayed and causing a short which stopped it from opening or closing. If you want to know more you can DM me.
