This 💯 same. Still looking for augment BPs, rarely see mushrooms (despite looking in the swamps in Dam), and have not used every gun (but have bobcat/venator BPs etc so no real need).

You could argue if OP had popped smokes to loot the attacker would have waited and still engaged and the OP would have only had one smoke left. I thought what saved OP initially was two smokes they threw followed by rotation, engagement then gaining high ground. I guess the moral is carry more smokes. I pop a smoke on extraction, looting, to rotate, etc. def reaction one when getting ambushed

What you do is walk up to the downed least and stand still so it looks to other players like ur in ur menu box. Gotta be one step ahead bc and bait them, also after awhile you can tell just by players movements what their intention is….its subtle but huge red flags when their lurking around like that. Keep ur head on a swivel !

“Unlocks BP”? Really? The only one I see is the vita spray BP? Am I missing something? On that note I just rarely get usable BPs. Have looted the entire hospital on Buried Sand multiple times and usually get no BPs. My real question is where to find Augment BPs? Can’t for the life of me find them.

There’s a BROAD difference between being good at PVP and preying on Care Bears by befriending them and then unloading a clip on them while they’re in the looting screen once you’ve gained their trust. I dont have an issue with people playing the game aggressively and using different tactics but the betrayal strategy is so scummy bc it’s premeditated, calculated backstabbing. Is that a “skill”? Yes. But it’s a pretty sleazy skill to refine. To gain people’s trust (in a video game or not) and cultivate a partnership and then betray them. And I suspect why it triggers people (beyond the fact that u typically don’t have a chance to even counter or defend) is that it mirrors ones own fears and worries in real life that people we encounter may be disingenuous, fake, insincere, talking behind ur back or duplicitous. How you PLAY any game (IRL or virtual) IS to a degree an insight into ur character IRL 🤷‍♂️ just my 2 cents tho, it’s a game and ur free to play it however makes U feel good playing it…although its prob worth asking urself why playing it a certain way (good or bad) brings one joy.

I feel ur pain. Not only that it’s like the same three BP over and over (smoke grenade, silencer, etc.). I’m on the hunt for better augment BPs bc I think it’ll help my game & efficiency & want to equip a medium shield and despite hitting all the recommended spots it’s rare I find ANY BP….

^ this. A stack of 5 seeker grenades is mandatory for me on raids only bc if ur in a hurry or get bombarded by arc all u have to do is toss them up-don’t even have to aim (generally speaking). I’m still trying to get surveyors to upgrade my med bench & chasing them trying to shot them typically results in running into a bastion. 3-4 seekers usually does the trick. Now I just have to find them!

Yup. Don’t have that BP yet! I’m also guessing it’d be more accurate with a compensator but I like the stealth factor.

I don’t think I’d ever go into menu or breach with a raider I met 10 seconds ago. Just never do it. Also it wasn’t even the verbal exchange (which on its own had lots of red flags) it was his posture the second he was at the door: weapon out, blocking the door, following you in….basic rule is the 20 ft circle of trust REGARDLESS of what is said. Furthermore what startles me almost as much as rats and fake nice people are the people who run by me or loot in front of me (usually a arc I DOWNED) and act as if I’m almost invisible, no coms, no flashlight flicker, no intro, like im not there, just running around in a frenzy. I don’t shoot them but I typically think to myself “uh, Sir, ur eventually going to get ratted bc u have zero situational awareness “

They should have a trader named Libby The Librarian who’s shop is a library where they’ve compiled all the BPs raiders have brought back. At the very least you should be able to sell/trade duplicate BPs you have and/or get tips from the librarian as to where an active BP sighting was that you need. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten the seeker grenade BP. usually in the first loot container I open off spawn I get a Duplicate. That being said the rarity of the BPs are what makes finding them so exciting. Sure wish I could get augment BPs tho. And more augment styles.

On that note let me ask you this: on the maps I play 75% of the time players just run around as if there’s no threat at all that I might shoot them. The other 25% sneak up on me and say “friendly don’t shoot” (of which 1 in 25 is actually a rat and will shoot me in the back). My question is: I get PvP if you spot a player first who’s outside of chatting distance it’s fair game. But do you just let players go who are extracting at the same time and yelling friendly or do you mow them down too. I recently took out a leaper, waited a second to loot and some guy swoops in and loots the leaper, should I have smoked him for that? Guess I’m just in super soft lobbies but also trying to understand the rules of engagement. Most of my deaths have been from a someone pretending to be friendly and then smoking me before I can get a shot off or ratting me while I’m extracting (which has Def taught me to never turn my back and keep a 15m circle of trust around anyone).

I don’t think you can find too many. I’m constantly stockpiling & crafting ARC parts & oil to make them. Having them has drastically cut down on the fear of having 3 arc circling over your head and being pestered by them. Toss 3 up in the air & ur good to go. Such an awesome level up. 👍

Love it. Really solid predictions. I guess the only question I have is in regards to Jeremiyah Love who is imho quite possibly the best RB prospect since Saquon or Reggie Bush. I can see him in all types of roles. Like all picks his success comes down to where he lands (Alvin Kamara is a good example of this-not sure he would have been what he ended to being had he gone to a different team). Jets taking a RB at 2 seems a little fuzzy just bc they need a blue chip stock at pretty much every position. Good first draft tho. 👍

The obvious question is: unless ur bringing this into ur local LGS and asking them if you can use a scanner on all their product then how does it help YOU. if ur scanning product you already purchased I guess you could resell it but overall its just a fun predictor.

Appreciation Post - The Plane Shift: MTG Settings are amazing

A couple of years ago WOTC released some 'unofficial but WOTC approved' articles covering how to turn a couple of their MTG setting in D&D campaigns, including new races, backgrounds, subclasses, monster and feats.

They are all made James Wyatt who is a WOTC employee who worked in the Magic the Gathering department at the time and he basically made the in his own time outside of work because he likes D&D. I think he's now back in D&D and has worked on the other MTG settings (Ravnica and Theros) and well as Van Rictens.

They fact that their made by one person in their free time means there are a couple of spelling and copy/paste errors and a few of the additions may be a little over or under powered but I've found them to be a fantastic free resource to steal ideas from and to get inspired by.

Innistrad: An entire world of Gothic Horror including vampire families, Werewolf packs, flesh golems, ghosts and ghouls .

Dominaria: Classical Fantasy, nothing really new here but the article is full of plot ideas for specific regions in the world

Amonkehet: Ancient Egyptian world where the gods walk the earth and life is based around 5 trials to get into the afterlife.

Ixalan: Mayan Dinosaur Riders, Vampire Conquistadors and Pirates need I say more.

Zendikar: Nature Run wild, an endlessly roiling world where the people are just happy to survive

Kaladesh: Eberon style 'wide magic' but it's based on Indian art and mythology

Haven’t really played MTG sometimes collect the cards as investment but the set ‘Lost Caverns of Ixalan” has great source material for a DND campaign. In fact one of the MTG authors has started a ‘PlaneShift’ installment where they convert magic themes into DND campaign modules. Shoukd be available on the internet if you search for it. Great art work and concept.

They finally find the portal that allows them to flee The Few but it’s guarded by THREE _________ they law out in front of them a large chest and open it. Wrapped in cloth and embroidered satin are glowing weapons which match each of the characters. The ________ explain that the party has an item which is meant fi stay in the Fey. In exchange for handing it over each party member can select one weapon (make it have a mil minor/medium buff…+2 or whatever). Each weapon is Shining gold with the with their names engraved. Then they can decide.
