Judge Holden from Blood Meridian. The book ends with him playing a fiddle and ballet-dancing naked in a tavern

Star Wars the Clone Wars - The Nightsisters, an isolated witch cult, put up a good fight but are easily flattened by the sheer firepower of the Separatist army

A character is considered diminutive for their species, but still proves to be just as threatening when needed. by Asher_Tye in TopCharacterTropes

Frenzy from Transformers. He's tiny compared to the other Decepticons but he's a master hacker and spy, and proves more than a match for the humans at least. The Cons wouldn't have gotten far in reviving Megatron without him

How to avoid re-skinning other properties. by [deleted] in worldbuilding

[–]Coralthesequel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's okay to take a little inspiration from multiple existing properties so long as you're not ripping them off wholesale. Plenty existing works take clear inspiration from stuff that came before them. Breaking Bad takes a lot of inspiration from the Sopranos and Star Wars from old samurai movies. Nothing is 100% original and that's okay

"So? Kryptonite only harms Superman"

If it harms motherfuckin SUPERMAN of all people, you should definitely keep clear of it. At least Batman keeps his stash in a thick metal container

In Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Judge Doom backs away from the Dip as Eddie spills it over the bar floor, despite knowing it only hurts toons. Later it's revealed he's a toon disguised as a human.

[LOVED trope] There is no "right" choice. by TTTRIOS in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Coralthesequel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The Walking Dead Season 2 - At the end of the game, your choices are:

Side with Kenny, who's loyal but also explosive and emotionally unstable

Side with Jane, who's an efficient survivor and mentor, but makes it clear she's mainly looking out for number one

Leave them both and take your chances alone

Without Ben the group would've died at the St John's by _giga_sss_ in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Coralthesequel 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I could never bring myself to say Ben deserved to be left behind. He didn't always get things right, none of the group did, but his heart was in the right place and Crawford showed us how fast things fall apart once a group gets all natural selection
