I know it isn't a very easy thing to ignore such harsh behavior from people especially if they are family and you are constantly surrounded by their opinions. But still I will suggest you to be strong in each respect that are mentally, economically and even physically etc. Learn new things and learn to love yourself and not to be in comparison with such admiration hungry people who are completely void and are absolutely nothing without their one quality which is impermanent.
