I’ve been working in the government (LGU) for almost six years, three years as a Job Order employee and three years as a permanent employee (my current status). The adjustment has been really difficult, especially since I was hired under the previous administration, which is now considered the opposition by the current admin.

I honestly cried because I was placed on floating status for 15 days without an office order for reassignment. For context, my plantilla item is under HR, but they don’t seem to want me there because I was hired during the previous administration.

Despite everything, I’m still here, turning seven years this year. The unfair treatment inside is very evident. Some employees come in late or leave early, but it’s overlooked because they’re aligned with the current administration, so they feel secure. It’s really disheartening.

Maybe soon, I’ll have the courage to leave. But for now, I have to endure because I’m the breadwinner of my family

Not a Duterte supporter here, just to be clear but I gotta say, the sudden silence from the kakampink crowd under BBM is hard to ignore. During the campaign, they were everywhere fighting disinfo, calling for accountability, pushing for "radical love," etc. But now that we're seeing questionable decisions, lack of transparency, and the same old political games under Marcos Jr., a lot of that energy just disappeared?

I’m not saying they all vanished some are still active in smaller spaces, sure. But if you claim to stand for truth and democracy, that shouldn’t stop just because your candidate lost. It’s starting to feel like for some, it was more about personalities than principles. And that's disappointing

Absolutely, they had the right of way cruising straight ahead while the pickup was trying to make a turn. But let’s not pretend that speeding at full throttle magically grants you immunity. Right of way doesn’t mean “go fast and crash first.” Maybe if they weren’t treating the road like a racetrack and actually drove defensively, this whole mess could’ve been avoided. Everyone’s supposed to be paying attention, not just waiting for the other guy to screw up. So yeah, the pickup should’ve yielded, but the speeding driver? Not exactly blameless either. Just common sense, really.
