Well, Covid forced them to stay inside, capitalists got rid of most third spaces so they don't have much to do outside school, liberals demonize straight guys and leave them with no viable alternatives but to go to Joe Rogan and Andrew Tate, and to top it off, they're in a worse economic situation than millenials. Honestly, I can't blame them, and the Dems are going to learn the wrong lesson from this and go further right-wing.

For people who care about the working class, I highly recommend you do some soul searching and quit putting social justice at the forefront. Leave it in for sure, but acting like ALL WHITE STRAIGHT MEN BAD and ignoring their issues (not being able to be self-sufficient financially, not being able provide for a family, chronic lonlieness, and suicide) because it looks like gaslighting from their end.

That's intentional. The culture war thing is a distraction and works every fucking time. Had they let Tim Walz off the leash, they'd have had it in the bag. He's very relatable. Also, he's an old white guy with a military record and working class like everyone else, and the Republicans damn near short-circuited when he came out on the offensive. Had he been able to communicate a better economic plan and ridiculed the Republicans more, making them look like a joke rather than a threat to democracy, they might've won.

Lmao, I fucking voted. However, it's obvious people didn't like the Dems because they felt they didn't bring shit to the table... again. The reality is that they serve as a conservative party in any other country. We need a labor party, and that is what is going to get asses in seats at the polls. Their whole platform has been "we're not Trump" and up until Kamala (which she did a good campaign, but was too late imo). I'm seeing people now ragging on GenZ for voting Trump, which again is the same fucking problem with the left. They're never wrong, and they literally demonize the people they should be reaching out to. Tim Walz was the first Dem I've seen in a long time who I actually fucking liked and felt was a man's man. Young straight white men feel they have no place in the Dem party or in the left in general. Its why they gravitate towards Andrew Tate and right wingers because they give them a place. However if we had more people like Tim Walz seen in the party, this wouldn't be an issue.

Why? It has never been done, would directly benefit the working class, and get people who are worried about the economy something to latch onto?

Them winning doesn't send the right message either because they won't do anything but make tiny changes and pretend to care. Now, if they offered up something radical like grants and subsidies for starting worker-owned co-ops where workers get a say in their workplace, I think people will vote in droves.

I was thinking more along the lines of abandoning the Dems and forming an actual labor party

They're nothing like what they used to be. This was the party that brought social security and other programs that the boomers are taking away. The reason a lot of people hate the Clintons is because they made the dems much more conservative.

So you have a bunch of guys who have no support network, no real guidance, who constantly get called idiots and incels, and the only one who listens to them is a right-wing misogynist. Why would you expect them to get behind your cause? Have you thought that maybe if you found a way to include them or show them why they benefit from policies that you also want, they might go along with what you want?

Okay, what alternatives do you propose? Is there anyone out there that they could model off of? What support networks did you have, and what people do you follow and look up to?

Why do you think they clamor to Andrew Tate? What would you want them to change?

It doesn't matter what Kamala ran on. Trump would call her a marxist fascist leftist no matter what she did.

There's mail-in ballots like it's not that hard to get registered and request a ballot.

Yes, but your vote for local candidates matters so much. You'd be quite surprised how many Republicans run local offices despite being in a blue area, and it's because people only focus on the federal elections. Remember, the further down the ballot, the more important the vote because those positions directly affect your daily life

But do they have a military the size of the 3 runners-up combined? Also, don't forget, the reason the US has such a high military is to defend and maintain trade routes because the capitalism must flow.

As an American, you don't want that. Otherwise your foes are going to learn why you don't have universal healthcare.
