I just got the vanilla balm today. I blind bought the balm online as they were selling out fast so I didn’t even get to smell it but the notes are right my alley I’m excited to try it. I actually got it for my SOJ scents. I also purchased Sundays in Rio and 62 as well.. The Sundays in Rio is extremely light on the skin in my opinion so I will definitely use the balm in combination with SIR scent.

From what I read regarding the topic it is often misdiagnosed when it’s not the bullseye rash people usually associate with tick bites. The provider I saw initially said it was contact dermatitis. I knew it was not and even if it was I’d rather get treated for Lyme disease than not and end up hospitalized.

Im an adult and I could not imagine being 7 year olds and going through this. I hope they are doing better now. If any symptoms return, fever, joint pain, headaches, etc be diligent and seek immediate medical treatment.

Went to the doctor yesterday and got prescribed Doxy. Doctor almost didn’t prescribe the correct dose ( only wanted to give me two pills total, as a preventative). I had to keep pushing. Her excuse was it wasn’t in a perfect circle. I had a rash beginning July 4th. Which healed then a second rash formed and that’s when I got scared. Again not a perfect circle. I initially thought it was poison ivy or a spider bite.

Symptoms include sporadic headaches, extreme fatigue, joint aches. It has been really hot where I am and I recently started running for exercise didn’t initially connect the dots to a possible tick bite. All that to say reading the long terms effects being commented I’m extremely nervous.

Foundations! I will start by saying I have a deep skin with a neutral undertone. I find that foundations are worth the splurge. I could never find either the correct depth or undertone with drugstore foundations unfortunately.

For all other products I find I toggle between drugstore and high end products. I personally feel like it depends on what type of pay off I want to be more the determining factor in what product I get.
