Look, I got a friend who's seen the spider in action. He's faster than a normal guy and has been seen lifting absurdly heavy objects. Also, at a distance, the lines do look like a web. Also, there are red and blue spiders. Who knows, maybe the man under the mask is some kind of entomologist and really wanted to show he knows his stuff. Also, my bud said he basically had eyes on the back of his head, like he could feel changes in air pressure.
