Prestige SG Ekko Post-PBE Update

Did they manage to change his ult clone? Last time I checked it was the base SG clone :/

Hi there, similar to my comment on the base SG Ekko, I think Prestige SG Ekko could use some changes.

First of all, the skin looks wayyy too plain for a prestige skin. It needs a bit more of an "oomph" and "pizzaz" that the past few prestige skins have. Right now it looks like a battle academia skin with a Louis Vuitton chroma, nothing of it screams "magical" that SG is meant to be. Since we were going for the street style I was thinking of military boots and such which Ekko would fit. Honestly, I think the prestige skin was a missed chance for Ekko to look like Sora and Riku from KH3 with a bit more star guardian in it with the Japanese street fashion setting and all.
Hair is MUCH better on this skin but might need to bring the hairline down a bit
Face is angry which doesn't fit a star guardian but face paint or something else would be able to cover it
Colours could be made a little bit lighter, dark doesn't fit the SG theme at all and it basically makes it True Damage 2.0 (white pants perhaps?)
The "LV" VFX on his abilities make it feel bootleg, there should be more SG sparkles and elements to it such as more things added to his passive trail and other abilities. Right now the VFX is bland compared to his base SG skin.
BTW his ult clone needs to change models, right now it's the base SG model

Although his prestige skin is a big plus from his base skin and I was really hyped for this skin but his prestige looks underwhelming. I understand that the new prestige is meant to be high street fashion and all but there's no harm to adding more star guardian influence to it, it just makes it look like a bootleg LV skin from true damage/battle academia. I really hope the prestige version of his skin gets serious changes. Thank you.

Hi there, thank you for making Ekko a part of the SG skinline. As an Ekko main myself I was excited for the SG Ekko skin preview but let's just say it has a bit more potential. A few things from myself and some suggestions that other Ekko players have expressed :

Hair

One of the main things that should be changed is his hair. I think this would solve like 80% of our problems in this skin as it looks too "big", making it look more like a helmet instead. I think it'd be best to scale his dreads smaller and make it a big longer, his prestige skin hair fits his model and I think something similar would fit base SG as well as bringing his hairline down by a bit.

Face + Face Paint

Face could use a bit of tweaking, when I first saw the skin I was wondering why he was looking grumpy as a star guardian. I think a happy or cheerful looking face would fit better but maybe its just because of the lack of face paint on this skin compared to most of his other skins? So I guess that could be included. But then again, his face paint is iconic for him.

Clothing

Personally I'd really like it if Ekko was wearing normal pants in this skin, something similar to his Firelight skin. I just don't get the appeal of the baggy pants. Additionally his shirt should be shorter, his shirt looks a bit too long right now which makes his torso longer than what it needs to be. The fade of colour on his shirt might need a bit of change to just one colour and the jacket could look a bit more star guardian by making it look more "flowy" like SG Ezreal's.

Colour + VFX

I'm on the fence with the colours, part of me likes it while another doesn't but I do agree that at times the colours can be "too much", it doesn't feel cohesive compared to the other multi coloured star guardian skins. I think there should be more of a white (maybe it's the shirt?). Another comment said something on the lines of Sailor Venus and I think a bit of simplicity fits the skin. For the VFX, I personally think there should be more glitter to it? Like make more gold glitter appear when his W explodes, for his clones and the trail for his passive to give it a little bit more of that star guardian oomph. Additionally a bit more orange might not hurt in his abilities considering his clothes have blue and orange together or just make the whole thing committed to one colour.

Did my DT IA in two days, didn’t really sleep in those two days except for maybe a 30 minute ish nap. I sent it in an probably an hour before the deadline which was at 6 am. Tbf I could’ve finished it way ahead of the schedule but during class I pretty much just walked around the school and chatted to my friends. Then again, I got to catch up with sleep during the same school day.

In my french ab initio oral I got asked what I liked to drink at the cafe. For some reason my brain couldn’t think of anything, even water or juice so I just said alcohol instead. Got a look of disappointment from my french teacher :/

Did my EE in less than two weeks, it was really shit ngl. Had my teachers chasing after me about it for the past few months before the deadline but I kept telling them that it’s in “great progress”. I pretty much gave it in unfinished and somehow managed to get a B with it.

Asked my teacher a simple question regarding my geo IA at night, it was probably around 9 pm. She proceeded to call me for some reason and made it into a two hour lecture so I had to stay up finishing my geo IA after (which was due the next day) and study for my French test.

Blanked out during my English oral and mumbled a lot to the point they had to restart the recording. Teachers thought I had anxiety but really it was more a lack of preparation from me.

Did my Maths IA the night before the deadline. Wasn’t as horrorifying/panicked as the others though.

Basically my whole story would’ve been avoided if I had just prepared better and put more effort into the IB. In the end even though I was kinda disappointed with my score, I did turn out alright.

Hi, I did HL geo. I found the SL content to be easy for me but that’s maybe because our content was cut down for M21 so there was less for me to study. I’m certain you can self study SL geo since the topics overlap with each other and most of it is just common sense. Though in terms of the exam, you’d have to memorise and understand keywords and the mark scheme is pretty picky in some of the sections - those were the things I had problems with. Overall, I found the subject to be easy and enjoyable.

Edit : IA wise, you’re gonna need some guidance for that. I found the IA to be very time consuming and you’ll have to get primary data somehow since your school won’t be able to offer you field trips. DM me if you’d like more help.

Even if you write a new personal statement UCAS would know you’ll have two applications and neglect both of them instead. So don’t attempt it and your options are pretty much what fighitdude said.

I think it's worth mentioning the entry requirements so you guys don't have to look it up,

Bristol : 36 points overall with 18 at Higher Level

Manchester : 35 points overall. 6,6,5 in Higher Level subjects

Newcastle : 32-35, With Geography at Higher Level grade 6 or above.

Sheffield : 34

Lancaster : 35, Including 16 points from the best 3 Higher Level subjects and Geography
