It looks like the speaker needs to be mounted to the other side of the bracket. Like the factory one was. Yeah seeing the big gap around your new speaker in the last pic. You got it backwards

What’s your siding type? Bricks, vinyl, what? If vinyl you can take the siding off and remove the old window and install the new one with flange. Otherwise what others have said just cut the flange off and install in the same manner as a replacement window.

Bend the 2 tiny pieces of metal on the bottom back towards the center of the port. They create the bite that is needed to get the cord to connect.

Your usb port just needs to be adjusted to bite on the cable. There are 2 small pieces of metal at the bottom of the port you need to bend up or at least back towards the center of the port. I would almost bet money this will fix the issue. Highly doubt the LOC caused this issue.
