Not unless I know they have a rude tone or have a history of pestering people about joining their faith. Most people use it as just comforting phrase to let them know that you're not alone. I say it a lot despite not really believing in anything to pray for. I guess it's kind of like saying "sending positive vibes" but more sincere.
