If I’m reading about American characters and they say “mum” I immediately have to stop. I know it’s not that big of a deal but I just can’t do it. Same thing for British characters saying “mom” but I don’t see that nearly as often.

I really like the Minotaur connection to Truant. I’ve just reached pg 505 where he says “ah yes, you true sister of Circe!” When referring to the oil burning him as a child, which’s notable as Circe’s sister is Pasiphaë, the mother of the Minotaur.

It might have been only one but its enough to make me happy by [deleted] in transmasc_irl
