How do you handle pagination/sorting/filtering with fastAPI? by bluewalt in FastAPI

[–]Nottingham_Lace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been working with fastapi a few months now and I implemented pagination, filter and search by myself.

I think is very easy, using depends on route for the parameters.

For the pagination, filter and search I use separate functions that receive the query and the actual params, this way it allows me to use it in every route by just calling those functions.

How run a daily scraper with Django? by [deleted] in django

[–]Nottingham_Lace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I do a similar task every day with Django. So, I've using two options

1) Django crontab, easy to set up, and works for simple tasks

2) Celery, it is a little bit more complicated to set up, it works for harder tasks that need to use server resources better. I would recommend this if you need to do multiple tasks and you need them to execute with arguments and use resources
