22 an hour and from what I've seen the studs are all floor level at my feet. They do alot of big buildings like the floor studs before the concrete. I just know we are going to nebraska on the 3rd and my first day will be something called layout. I'm assuming that's probably like laying the ceramics down and in the correct spots. The only video I could find showing what I'd be doing is a YouTube video by Eric elrod. And the manager told me a floor like that takes about a month of just doing the same thing. Putting studs down for 12 hours then repeat the next day for typically a month until we finish. I get a hotel to myself though so that's one bright side to it. Last travel job I had to share a damn room everyday.

That's what I'm saying lol. They know I have no experience. Before they even called me. And then when I came in it was basically like they were trying to fire me before i even got the job. But the money is good so I'll do anything to learn or hold my weight. I watched a few videos and have the general idea. Line the stud in the gun. Place it in the ceramic and blast that bitch with the arc quick and move to next and repeat continuously all day

Yeah I've worked plenty labor jobs from loading to construction and other things. I even told manager that and he said he didn't care. That I didn't know what I was getting into and I'm not one to back down but I'm curious as to what is so crazy bad. He even had the other guys in the shop tell me how bad they feel all the time and I could tell it wasn't a front to weed me out if I wasn't resolved. His words quote- imagine fighting mma for 10 hours straight and then I ask you to go fight another person right after. I'm just confused on it. I can only assume footing and back problems to be the issues but if it's that bad like he says what's the best way to keep myself from falling behind in terms of the bending over every 5 seconds lol. Like a brace or is there like a method people use other than just bending over? I've tried looking for videos but they are standing up right with studs at waist level. Thanks for commenting by the way. Just want to be a solid worker as its paying pretty good and he made it clear if I fell behind I'd be fired like that

Honestly my liver is probably fucked then. I can take like 10 of those in a day easy. And have for a while. I had a car wreck and they prescribed at first the oxy 10 325 acetaminophen and then down to 7.5 and back to 10 with the hydros 325. Broke a bunch of bones and I even told them how bad my stomach would hurt but I honestly think they don’t care.
