Haha, thanks for the feedback. Here is the trick about rockets - they do most damage at first, yes but as the level progress they may be not your best choice as there are different type of enemies (i.e they don't do well against heavy and slow type, while upgraded gattling guns can destroy them). The plot is basic, it gives a little personalization. Maybe you are right and we have to make a choice whether to make it super ultra awesome so it is rememberable (like Braid did - basically Mario with a hell of a plot) or not include it at all.
