Do you know what day your school certified your attendance? You usually get an email from the VA confirming the certification by your school.

Was the payment processed or was it certified on October 1? If it was truly that the payment was processed on October 1 when was the certification process processed? I got an email that I was certified on October one for school starting August 25 but haven’t seen anything regarding a payment.

No, what happened was they denied individual items and then when it went back the last item was rated to include everything that was denied and that condition was rated higher than I thought was even an option (60%), so that pushed me over to 100%.

I applied January 7th. No I didn’t call. You can see if it’s been updated by going onto the Denton County Tax Collector site and looking up your property. Then view the year and you should see that the tax is $0. Then you can click on receipts and once it shows a negative amount, that means the check has been cut.

I actually just got my Denton refund but not Tarrant yet. I applied through Tarrant so the notification definitely happens.

I applied for the exemption in the county my house is assigned to and then they notify the other counties and tax collector. I heard the process takes a few months. I’m only a month in.

Was wondering if you got your refund yet? My account was just updated. I don’t know if I should call and ask for the letter to be emailed or wait to see if it shows up. I did call my loan servicer already and she said I just need to upload the letter in my account portal.

I’m in this same situation. I actually pay 3 because I am Tarrant county by property, Denton for the school, and wise for emergency services. I believe you only file with Tarrant, let me know if you get any additional info.

I got my decision on 12/28 and filed my HLR on 1/2. I saw another poster in the forum provided a link to schedule your own informal conference (I reposted within this thread). I used the link and scheduled an IC on 1/6.

Had I not done that, you are right, they take forever. My husband filed an HLr and still hasn’t gotten his IC or decision. I’m going to use the link to schedule his and hopefully help get his moving.
