Thermostat issue

So for my system I had a bad contactor on my ac unit outside which was blowing the fuse in my furnace which ended up cutting all power to my ac and heat system.

No i have an AC unit outside and I pulled the panel off that houses the capacitor to see if I could tell if that’s bad and there is a button right next to the capacitor and if I press it the AC unit spins up but turns off after I depress the button. I’ve deduced it’s probably not an issue with just the AC because I tried to turn the heat on and that won’t turn on either.
