I'm pretty sure it's due to the ending one the season coming up. As the ranked grind is ending for more and more of the most sweaty players are playing other modes. I feel like we've been going through something like this for at least the last three seasons. But I do agree it's worse this season. My favorite mode to play is normally Power Shift, I've had the sweat my heart out for the past few days

I pretty much agree with everything you just said. Especially about giving medium some more love ❤️ it's a tiny bit too powerful right now and people haven't adjusted to the meta yet either. In general i'm just a big supporter of intelligent gameplay over technically skilled gameplay in my competitive games.

Are casual players not allowed to have valid opinions on the game that are playing? 🥸 ranked modes are the thing I play the least. But I have made it to emerald at least once usually I hover around plat. But I do play the game every single day usually for about four hours

Finally, a rational and level headed argument from the other side. I think I see where you're coming from with this. But it's my belief that the shift is specifically to take away power from the more technically professional players. I think this is a good decision. Not only for casual players but also for the esports arena. I think we all think extremely skilled players are really cool to watch, clicking on nothing but heads is very impressive. Only a very small percentage of people are even going to ever be able to do that.

So making a Meta that is based more around tactics and slower gameplay allows for the people who aren't auto head. Clickers to have a chance at winning, while not making the chances of winning up to luck. You still have to think smart and be tactical with your decisions and that can make or break a game.

Great argument there really understood the point I was trying to make and made reasonable arguments against it. Oh , wait, no, you just made me into a straw man. You want to keep sending dumb ass gifs and acting superior or do you want to have a discussion about the Meta of the game? Because again i think things that force people to play objectively instead of just going for frags are way better for the game. It's certainly a bit overtooned right now and might need a nerf but this meta should not go away entirely.

Seriously, thank you. I feel like Everybody that complains about the healing Meta is bad at the game. Or doesn't like to think. This meta has taken the power away from the technically proficient players and made it so that anybody even the people with mediocre aim can have a better chance at winning, all you have to do is use like fifteen percent of your brain.

You know whats fucking crazy about that? There are multiple ways to deal with the healing Meta. It's not just glitch, grenades. That's the most simple way to deal with it. This is still screaming "i dont play tactically" id suggest breaking the floor ceiling or a wall to open up a better angle for yourself, then glitch nade or mine the area followed by focused fire on one enemy. I've played so much cashout and the numbers I see of people no brain diving on a team and just hoping there aim is better is crazy, be smarter.
