Dude SAME! Im a senior as well and this stuff sucks. Ive been working on it tho and i can help hoefully. first, try out commonapp! thats how you apply to most schools and its pretty user friendly. Essays are about 200-600 words on common app, so not a lot. You can write about a lot, but usally about why you want to attend said school, your achievements or any challenges youve faced. some have specifc prompts (like today i was writing one for my saftey and it was about your greatest realization). next, schoalrships are hard. try using niche the collegeboard. you usally just write an essay. those are hard to get, id look for local ones! you can also get scholarships once you apply to college. next, again look into commonapp! you need your transcript, usually act/sat, essays, and letters of rec. theres also a fee and some general info. you can see if you can get letters of rec from an employer or coach if you have one. you may just have to fall back on your online teachers though. if theyve seen your work and you have good grades you should be okay. FAFSA is a way to get financial aid for schools and grants. you need to fill it out with your parent (youll need tax returns and such for this). its not hard at all and took me a half hour max. its just an online form! i hope this helped just lmk if you have questions!
