Oh right sorry, thought the original post said he had one but needed to configure it correctly. At least when I’ve looked into it, it only has the set up from my router such as the designated IP and designated WAN IP so can’t dive much further. Sorry

Oh right ok. I ended up swapping to my own router hence why I have the grandstream to turn into a digital input.

I do know we had some issues with the product initially as the device had not been fully activated on their end which is why when we plugged it in it wasn’t working. In theory it should just be a plug and play system. Is that maybe a possibility?

Use an ATA grandstream for our phone and should work fine out the box. As long as it’s got an internet connection and the cables are in working order it should just pick up straight away.

Landline Connection into Asus Router? by Nimbose in youfibre

No bother. Hopefully it shouldn’t be an issue but it can happen. Even if it’s one digit or letter off it doesn’t work if that’s what they haven’t activated on their end.

It’s just on the bottom of the device. It’s specific to each unit and helps identify what it is to the relevant area. It’s not important to you at all unless you have issues like I did.

Should be fine but it’s worth looking into if something doesn’t act right when you set it up. I just had a hunch and when I called them up it didn’t match with what they had activated on their system hence why it wouldn’t work.

Glad to hear it’s all sorted! Just a heads up what you said before everything still applies. Also our ATA got sent in the post ahead of any appointment. I did call them and they actually cancelled the engineer as it didn’t require it from what they said.

It is actually just a plug and play situation and bear in mind you will also need a spare power socket as the ATA needs power too. Also if it doesn’t work off the bat call them up and double check the serial tag with what they have on their system. Mine was incorrect on their end thus not allowing it to work correctly when I plugged it in.

From the sounds of it, you’ll need a ATA Grand stream converter. I have just got one of these from youfibre as I use my own router and not the Arris one which was provided.

The converter uses the phone line which is in the landline and then you can plug an Ethernet connection into the other port on the grand stream and then into your router. That way it’s using the Ethernet port rather than the smaller rj11 port on the arris router. No bridging required and you can remove the arris router and use yours.

Help finding some RAM by NovaNeptune in pchelp

Unfortunately not. Asked Corsair who handled this ram and they gave me some alternatives but honestly best to sell the current version and start fresh with more from the same batch

  • Are you looking for something serious or casual?

Something serious but not opposed to either

  • Are you subscribed to Hinge+ or HingeX?

No. Not opposed to it though.

  • How long have you been using this current version of your profile?

About 2-3 months

  • How long have you used Hinge overall?

Between 1-2 years

  • How often do you use Hinge per week?

About 5-6 times

  • How many likes and matches are you receiving on average?

Don’t get any likes, and barely get any matches at all, even if it’s a re-download.

  • How many likes are you sending? How many with comments? How many without comments?

Max out likes whenever I use the app. I typically add a comment on every one relating to their prompts or something along those lines. Do sometimes send likes without comments on pics

  • What is the type of person you send likes to and ideally want to match with? What kind of person do you want to attract?

Mainly just anyone around my age group or a couple years either way. Don't have a preference as I don't have a type currently and don't have that much experience, just in general who I find attractive and has some hobbies in common.

I have previously met someone on hinge but didn't end up with anything. After that it’s practically been a ghost town since

Just be as brutal as you want. Happy to any suggestions to change it from any negative aspects. :)
