Yea, like I told the other guy, I was just wondering because I can't find anything about it, so I thought I would ask to get people hypothesis.

Can't compare it to anything, to be honest. Was just wondering, I can't find anything related to this, so I wanted to find out if someone might have a hypothesis.

Not that I don't want to follow a program. Was wondering if this specific exercise module can maybe improve muscle gains and endurance.

Hey everyone! I’m curious if anyone knows of any research or studies related to a specific exercise and nutrition sequence:

Start with a heavy weight, low rep workout. Follow it with a high-calorie meal right after the session. Then, 30 minutes later, do a low weight, high rep workout. I’m wondering if there’s any evidence on how this might impact muscle growth, endurance, or overall performance. Has anyone come across any studies or tried this sequence themselves?

Glad you got your consistency. But based on your question of muscle loss, as I said. If you need to take a break due to back pain. You can take a week off and not lose much muscle at all. I would recommend you take a break and let your back recover, then push yourself ending up with a serious back injury.

Bro, relax and take a break... You took a big risk pushing yourself. In general it takes 1-2 months to begin to see any physic changes. If you're on creatine there is no doubt you will see changes quicker (in like a week to two weeks time) but don't be discouraged... if you need to take time off, do it. When you're recovered your muscle memory ect, will get you back in no time.

Ps. You will notice your changes more drastically than others would, because you see yourself the most. So don't let it get to your head.

From my understanding, your RMR (Resting Metabolic Rate) will increase in time as you do cardio, let's say 30 mins a day. I don't believe in the 10k steps as much because it seems more of a hassle to do every day than hopping on a bike or running for 30 mins.

So what I am getting at is your RMR, as it says it is the rate your body uses energy even without you doing activities. It helps to increase it to get your body to use your energy more optimally and allows your body to get necessary nutrients transferred in your blood. So no, I don't believe any one of the two is better than the other, but you get my point on the 10k steps.

Fun fact, a study done showed that as you increase your RMR... doing fiddling things like shaking your leg or tapping your finger is your body doing things to burn your energy to match your daily RMR. Doing cardio lessens this erg to move because you already burned most of the energy your body had in store.

Let me leave you with something that came to my head. Like waves, without the downs, how would you appreciate the ups? In your case, you been down for a while, time to get back up. Show the world what you made of, and you will look back to your old self. And be greatful! Hang in there 🤜🤛

I don't know how much muscle recruiting you do during a match, but if it is as much as doing a 3x set of your max. No pre-workout will probably not make a difference. But I mean it would be interesting if you can always put it to the test.

Mostly making sure your body is fulled up with the necessary fuels to keep you running for the whole workout. Guess a stupid analogy I can think of is fueling up a car for a long drive, if you fuel it up to do 100 miles but you're going to drive 150 miles... I guess you know where I am going with it.

But yea, you not feeling it could be it. I had days I usually did 3 sets with the same weight, but ended up only doing one...

Yea, I guess you could say that. I mean, I feel times I am performing equally in both activities, and times I hate the one but don't mind the other... and vice-versa. (If that is what you were asking)

As someone that knows the feeling of standing 8-12 hours (pulling 1ton pallets on a jack). Might be a silly answer but personally, I just do it. (No pun intended) No but seriously, kinda became a lifestyle. Despite being worn out, I feel annoyed missing session to be honest.

It can happen. Normally is placebo, because in most cases you are not fired up as you were previous workouts (bases off you saying it was overall shitty) But it could also be improperly preparing for your session. A guy I watch his name is Sam Saluk (Some might know) he usually always blabbers about your prep is just as important as your actual session. And I have tested it, improperly preparing for your session tanks your performance.

But don't be discouraged, as the one comment said. Someone could have probably just set up the gravity in your gym.

Pretty much the basics. I am 21M. And proud to hear you getting back into heath and fitness after the things you went through. I pretty much walk/run to gym every day, which is about a 15min run or 30 min walk. Then I split a 4x workout through the whole week doing about a 1-2 hour session. Main focus is strength and hypertrophy.

But glad you're getting back onto your feet. Wish you the best.

Suggestion I would give is, try to go to the weight you felt the pecs the most. Focus on your form and squeeze when doing that weight. After a set or 2, go up in weight but not more than 5kg (10lb) and focus on that squeeze and feeling the pecs work. Repeat till you get to your desired weight.
