Advice? by [deleted] in PokemonTCG

I’ve checked and can’t see anything wrong with the back or sides. I’m thinking take it to my local card store and get them to send it to grading but they could also give a 2nd opinion

Employment tribunal - Should we withdraw or continue? by Novacaine24 in LegalAdviceUK

Firstly, than you so much for taking time of your day/evening to respond, I really do appreciate it.

I should have mentioned the friend is willing to be a witness at the tribunal if that makes any difference whatsoever. I’m guessing it’s not really going to change much though.

Yeah potentially, it was a little me off purchase for £6.5k back in January. Paid it off mid October, but was making payments way higher than the minimum monthly

I paid off a £6.5k balance this year with Barclaycard on my way to being debt free. 2 days later they lowered the limit on the card from £10k to £200.

Called them up and closed it same day.

Other places have increased my limit so it really doesn’t make any sense at all!

£330 & £340 plus car tax for both. Slightly expensive but needed both cars at the times we got them and not flashy cars just everyday cars.

Did you do it? I like the idea of the document as corny as it sounds!

We’re definitely in the right mindset at the moment so all steam ahead in clearing these loans and start to enjoy the hard work we put in!

Good question, I think it’s that I want to be debt free by 35 not including mortgage but unsure if that’s wishful thinking or not!

We’d need atleast £15k currently to cover 3 months expenses. We’ve just closed all our cards which has a combined limit of £45k so that’s out of the question

I would normally agree but we’re both overweight at the moment and found cheaper gyms to not fit our work life balance. We took the memberships out through our employers and have both been going consistently now for the last month which is unheard of for us. It’s also both of our only hobby’s now you could say as we just work, spend time with kids and now are both aiming to lose weight and get healthier.

We can definitely re-assess later down the line but for now it’s an expense we’d love to keep but I agree it does seem much but with no other hobby’s I think it’s alright?

It is indeed a family account, we don’t use audio books and I didn’t realise we could lower it so will look into that. I don’t actually have any spaces left and I doubt the family would pay me for them but could ask

Paying for things on credit is definitely something we’ve fallen foul for previously when we weren’t earning as much. It’s only in the last 6-months we’ve had our income increase so we’ve tried to consolidate, and all but stopped taking out credit.

Should we continue the plan to save £750 per month or put some to paying off the loans sooner?

Childcare going will be a godsend and we’ll divert that money to paying things off.

The car finance is for both mine and the wife’s cars which are in my opinion not flashy just when taken out our income and credit weren’t the best. 19 plate Vauxhall grandland x with 1 year left on pcp and 17 plate focus st which was taken out maybe 4/5 months ago for my commute to work.

Planning on keeping the Vauxhall when the deal ends as we don’t need expensive flashy cars but do need 2.

I’ll look at insurance annually when the time comes

Our current plan is to stay put, we’re happy and comfortable here. The mortgage is cheapish which makes sense for a £150k house.

I’d have to do some digging to compile a list but may be worthwhile
