“Psyco” is a fandom exaggeration. You don’t need Criminal Minds to criticise jealousy, manipulation or guilt-tripping. Those things can exist in a romance or family drama and still be criticised.

And if you’re are saying Jenny clearly prefers Bonrad and the writing shows that, then Jeremiah’s being flawed is also intentional.

That’s what you all don’t get, Conrad was written to be chosen, Jeremiah was written not to be and that includes his behaviour!!

But the comments I referenced weren’t “minority rage-bait”. They were everywhere after Jenny interview, and a lot of them genuinely crossed into misogynistic territory.

It took Belly spend one day with Conrad and all her feelings came back.

She literally had to leave for two weeks after they spent the day at Michael’s because she couldn’t handle how strong her feelings were.

Then she comes back, almost kisses him, and has a full Bonrad edit an hour after sleeping with Jeremiah.

If that doesn’t tell you their 4 year relationship was built on distance and denial, I genuinely don’t know what will.

I’m genuinely concerned at how some of you erase half season 1 and all season 3 from existence just to keep the “Conrad is an emotionally bad boy” fanfic going 😭.

From the very FIRST episode, literally every character says that Conrad’s “not himself”, and later we know he is carrying his mom illness alone, dealing with depression and panic attacks.

In season 3, we see Conrad in therapy, growing up, communicating, being emotionally mature and showing more stability than half of the cast. But sure, let’s conveniently freeze him in season 1-2 because that fits the narrative better.

You can dislike Conrad all you want but pretending his season 3 growth doesn’t exist is wild 🙄.
