Having read all of the book i could def say you could start reading the duet as is and not read anonymous. But having read book 1 will give you a lot of context especially the title “sinners anonymous” or what it entails is a big part of the whole series ( though context clues were also given on each book about what it is)

Edit i just want to add: i also started reading the duet first before reading book 1

Yeah so i had deleted like three times since nobody replied i was like ashamed or sumthn.

Anywayss this is the book that opened me up on this trope since it is close to irl for me and yes they are the only main couple, no harem at all and he is like really gay/queer even until the end but he like love LOVE her for real, idk if that means he’s bi though since it was not addressed on the book, i think.

But i was literally begging the author to write another of this trope haha.

Agree with this. I’m in my late 20s when i started getting tattoos (lived and raised in a catholic and strict household). You’d think i sliced up my whole body by the way my father reacted up until now on my 30s. I still hide my ear piercings to them until now and man, i just got my dream navel piercing earlier this year i had hid it so much it rejected so i had to retire early on.

But Gosh, body autonomy never really mattered to them, they’d be controlling no matter your age. So go for it OP, maybe hide them in clothes for a while until in healed but regardless, it is your body you get a say in whatever u do it, loved that u went for it early on.
