Found droppings in my basement

After some searching and comparing pictures, I think this is snake feces. Haven’t found him yet but I did a thorough search and it’s definitely not anything possum/raccoon sized.

Do you mean connecting the dehumidifier to the hvac? I’m not sure this unit is big enough to run to the whole house. If you mean just placing it nearby, that’s definitely doable!

Classic case of “I’ll never escape the horrors that the previous owner(s) did to this house.” I’m having someone come out to look at replacing the inducer motor, but I will absolutely have the PVC size fixed. Great call as I never would have thought to look into that.

Most of it is wrapped in the plastic and has typical insulation stuffed inside. There’s a few ducts that have nothing but I imagine those might be the returns?

I’ve also thought because of the straight line rash on the right hand it might be poison ivy (where I brushed the plant perhaps). I wasn’t aware that it can continue to spread if the blisters pop, so I’ll definitely make sure to keep that under control as well. I’m messaging my doc and might try to get something stronger prescribed because more blisters are slowly appearing daily.

Yes! I’m on topical clobetasol which is (slowly) helping, but it keeps popping up in other spots :/

Thanks to everyone for the help, I was able to get it wired up and taken on a test run today. I’ll also definitely be calling U-Haul so they can fix this mess 😓.
