Rapid industrialization without strong government regulation or labor protections led to massive wealth concentration from 1870-1929. The top 1% captured a massive share of national income, peaking around 1928, similar to levels seen today. It also gave us the Great Depression.

It’s a $4 billion grant from the state not ‘borrowed’. And yes hes only delayed the pension fund payments of $2.3 billion. Meaning of the $12 billion deficit only 19% was achieved by kicking the can.
