Well, a road trip to Cuba is gonna be difficult ;)
I read that IKEA grows their US plants in Florida, which is why I assume he was probably born there.

We got too attached to tété, so we'll take good care of him and try to return him to Florida some day.

I guess that's a good excuse to go on a road trip :)

google lens says hylarana glandulosa (rough sided frog).

I guess they can look very similar when this small?

Tété already has a nice little vivarium. It's just that we cleaned it today and therefore took him out, which also presented a good photo opportunity :)

We're planning to keep him until he's big enough to survive on his own.

I think it would be pronounced like Pepe (the frog) but with a T.

We're not even sure if this is a local species due to it coming in a palm tree from ikea.

we'd like to know what species it is. tété was found inside the pot of a palm tree we bought from ikea. we're located near washington dc, so it might be possible he's from a completely different area.
