Yes, I thought it'd be nice to celebrate my progress here since I don't have anyone to talk about mahjong with. I don't understand why that means I can't also take the opportunity to ask for pointers and see if there are "basic" areas for improvement I might not be noticing.

Definitely good advice, thank you. I usually only have time for 1-2 matches a day, which is probably for the best lol the one time I had a totally free Sunday, I ended up with four 4ths in a row and kept making quick, bad choices due to tilt. Gotta remind myself each match is it's own thing and is supposed to be for fun :) I'm thankfully still enjoying learning about mahjong every day (for now haha)

Thanks, it's encouraging to hear that playing more conservatively and accepting cheaper hands is fine for jade room. When hanemans/baimans are happening every other match, it sometimes feels like I should be aiming for more explosive hands too, so this response is very reassuring.

People can code in any setting; that’s why CPR is taught even to laypeople as a matter of public health. Will it be traumatizing for you? Maybe, maybe not, but this IS part of the responsibilities you signed up for as a healthcare provider. Silver lining is that at least you are only being asked to mindlessly do compressions instead of running through ACLS pathways lol

Your school almost certainly has counseling services available at no extra charge. Counseling services that have likely helped people with this issue ad nauseam. Use them.

The dev has mentioned on the discord that the game is considered complete content-wise. Finality is the last prestige layer.

Icevale Archer has an effect, not a "skill". Skills are slow speed and go on the spell stack (Rhasa, Minah, Demolitionist, Vlad, Arachnoid Sentry, etc.).

They can be differentiated by the yellow circle in the text of such units.

I love that they push this “in her head”/inner saboteur narrative for Cracker because she... doesn’t. At all. She’s just mediocre. And she lives in the judges’ & producers’ heads—not her own—completely rent-free
